Recently
two bright girl students of Thubten Choeling Balika Vidyalaya, Lhou from remote
area of Nafra Block of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, India found absent
from the school during reopening of the school after Covid-19 lockdown. The
case was came to the knowledge of our President, Geshe Dondup Tsering and he
learnt that the reason behind their absent was due to the financial constraint
in the family. So, he requested his Dharma friend Ms Maria Sorial and her
husband from Pitesti, Romania to support these bright girls for their further studies
and accordingly they are kind enough to accepted his proposal and have been
supporting these girls of our School since then.
In
this regard, on behalf of the parents of these two bright girls of our school, we
the member of Buddhist Culture Preservation Society, would like to thanks Ms Maria
Sorial and her husband for their generous sponsorship.
